Jennifer graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting and sculpture. She was later trained and certified through PhiBrows Academy and has since performed a multitude of microblading to thousands of customers. Preparation for the Treatment
Before getting permanent eyebrows, you must make sure that you have healthy skin. We recommend that you avoid waxing or tinting your eyebrows before your session. Laser treatments, chemical peels, or other exfoliating treatments must be avoided for at least two weeks before your appointment.
Tanning and sweating heavily must be avoided for as long as you can. You may also need to stop taking certain medications and supplements to ensure the success of your treatment.
Treatment Process
To start your microblading session, we will first draw the eyebrow shape that’s perfect for your facial features. We will use a measuring tool that’s unique to PhiBrows, which will perfectly match your face shape and size. A numbing cream is applied to ensure that you’re comfortable throughout your session, which can last for up to two hours.
Next, we will select the right pigment color for your permanent, beautiful eyebrows. We will carefully place the initial strokes by making micro-cuts under your skin. As the pigment is deposited into your skin, your new eyebrows become more defined. We’ll then apply a pigment mask to allow the ink to be absorbed by your skin.
Healing Period
To get the best results from your eyebrow enhancement treatment, you should take care of your new eyebrows correctly. We will advise you to gently clean and wipe your new eyebrows to get rid of the lymph, which is usually present in the first 24 hours.
For the next seven days after your microblading session, you’ll need to keep the area dry, avoid washing and sweating, and minimize contact with heat, dirt, and pollutants.
